    Shattered Backboard
    Communication Design, Advertising, Ps/Ai.

As someone who grew up inspired by basketball, Michael Jordan, and the raw energy of street culture, stepping into the world of sneaker design felt natural. The Shattered Backboard isn’t just a shoe—it’s tied to a moment that captures Jordan’s incredible strength and presence. That story stayed with me, and I wanted to channel that same feeling into my work. I used a shattered glass motif in the background and text to mirror the literal and symbolic impact of that moment. The bursts of orange and the motion lines represent the force and shock that came with it—something powerful, almost untouchable. I chose orange, black, and white not just to reflect the shoe, but to stretch its story beyond the physical object. Placing the final design in a mock-up helped me imagine how this could live out in the world, just like the moment that inspired it.

    Nike x Poets
    Communication Design/ Advertising/ Ps/Ai

The Nike x Poets collaboration finds a midpoint between one of the largest skating brands and Nike in order to deliver yet another colorway of the Nike SB. The shoe’s ablaze green represents tranquility and health, which contrasts with the nature of skateboarding. The colorway surprised me because it misrepresents what I believe the skateboarding culture is all about: taking risks, misfitting, and a craving for challenges. I chose to manipulate the background using the blurring and warping effects in order to represent Nike x Poet’s distorted definition of the origins of skateboarding.

    New Balance 1906R’s Cordura
    Communication Design/ Advertising/ Ps/Ai

Inspired by a curiosity to explore earth tones and footwear made for the outdoors, this piece reflects the grit and adaptability required to take on natural terrain—mud, dirt, and whatever else the trail throws your way. To capture that rugged energy, I layered in varied textures and movement, especially in the top right corner, where the blurred motion hints at speeding through dense forest—raw, fast, and grounded. The rich greens and deep browns echo the resilience of outdoor gear, while a bold pop of orange cuts through the calm, adding contrast and a touch of unexpected playfulness. This choice reflects how the 1906R’s can shift between functional toughness and expressive style, depending on where (and how) you wear them.
